Become part of the “Computer Aided Lighting” group in the Lighting Business Unit and develop HELIOS, our in-house software, for the calculation, simulation and analysis of tomorrow’s lighting systems!

This is waiting for you

  • You will independently create and support lighting software modules – from requirements analysis to the creation of the software architecture and software, to testing, integration and rollout.
  • You clarify and define the software requirements independently in cooperation with key users in the worldwide network and optimize the software in terms of function and usability.
  • You work out solution concepts, develop the corresponding algorithms within the existing C++ class library and, if necessary, coordinate the implementation in the international team.
  • You create training concepts, train users in the use of the software and provide support.
  • You support pre-development and series projects and thus always have contact with the latest technologies.

What makes you stand out

  • Completed studies in physics, mathematics, computer science or comparable
  • Professional experience in the development of lighting calculation and simulation software
  • Good knowledge of C++
  • Knowledge in the use of optimization methods desirable
  • Knowledge of grid computing desirable
  • Very good English skills
  • Creativity and solution-oriented work
  • Openness for new topics, enjoyment of new challenges and working in a team
