When Andreas Kindsvater talks about his job, it quickly becomes clear that the industrial engineer has found his passion in the specialized field of quality management. Andreas has been working in this area at HELLA Aglaia since 2019, and his work ensures that industry and legislative standards, incl. IATF 16949, are met at all times in addition to customer requirements.
If it were a matter of naming a motto for his work, it would be the words by Benjamin Franklin: “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.” This quote motivates Andreas time and again to work for quality at HELLA Aglaia and in the global HELLA: “It can be very challenging to develop results with impeccable quality when faced with the pressures of time and costs.”
Andreas’ tasks therefore include regularly monitoring organizational processes to identify potential for improvement. This is how he and the colleagues is his team help to continuously improve quality management and increase efficiency. “Consistent quality management is the foundation for long-term success in business, because only satisfied customers come back.”
What Andreas appreciates most about his role at HELLA Aglaia is working together across several disciplines: “The colleagues are very open and flexible, which makes working together easy and straightforward.” His workplace also has another benefit: “These days, my family is my favorite hobby, and the work-life balance works out perfectly. That’s not just a big plus for me, but for my little girl, too.”
